Not gonna lie, I don’t really see the point of a website. I’ve been operating fine with just Instagram and Facebook…

Like, people DM me, I post my hours, I tag my location, and it works.

Totally get that, a lot of businesses do start that way tbh 🤷‍♀️

You’re not doing anything wrong, but just know social media is “rented space”.

What does that mean though? Rented how? It’s free lol

It’s free, but you don’t control it. An algorithm change or account issue can wipe out visibility overnight.

Okay, that’s a little scary 😬

But people still find me on Instagram.

Some do, but most people Google “nearest ___ near me”

Google prioritizes websites, not social profiles.

I guess I do feel more confident when a business has a site… 🥲

Exactly 👀

Social gets attention, your website builds trust and authority.

So the website isn’t replacing social, it’s backing it up?

Yasss, exactly.

Think of social as the conversation starter and your website as the proof you’re legit when people go looking.
